Hello Peeps…Wreath Tutorial

There is so much beautiful inspiration around this time of year. From the fragrant gardenias blooming in the garden to the brightly colored cheerful Peeps bunnies and chicks. Makes me want to Craft!!! So here it is…
Peeps Bunny Wreath
When I saw that these lovely little blue bunnies matched some gorgeous grosgrain ribbon I’ve been itching to use, I knew I had to make it into this wreath!
9 inch twine wreath (can do foam wreath also, I had the twine on hand)
  2 Yards 1 ½ inch grosgrain ribbon
3 boxes of two pack bunnies pulled apart from each other
 Glue gun and sticks
Craft Tip: keep shallow bowl of ice water on hands to prevent burns
1.       Wrap ribbon around wreath gluing or just tucking in ends on side that won’t show
2.       Glue bunnies all around perimeter of wreath using glue gun
3.       Tie a piece of ribbon on top of wreath, length depends on how long you want it to hang
4.       Tie a bow hanging down on wreath (optional)
C    Craft Tip: be careful that glue is not too hot, after all Peeps are made of sugar and will MELT!
Here it is using yellow Peeps Chicks…
I used a smaller but wider foam wreath for this one and 2 boxes of 2 pack Peeps. Aren’t they too cute!
Happy Crafting!

I love it!! Those wreaths are too cute. I’m not very crafty, but I have to try this since I love Peeps so much. I’ll let you know if I’m successful. 🙂

Hi Meg! It was super cute, until my three year old took a bite off a couple of the bunnies heads!

I love your Peeps wreaths… they are so bright and cute! I hope it’s okay, I just couldn’t help but feature the blue one on my Easter wreath and topiary round-up. You can see it here:
