Girls Night Christmas Cookie Exchange

Gingerbread Men Hot Cocoa Bar with Assorted Garnishes
A few weeks ago I was happy to have a cookie exchange with a few girlfriends. The theme was gingerbread men houses and lots of peppermints! Classic colors green, red and some brown. Each girl brought 3 dozen cookies, one to taste and two for everyone to take home. We had assorted cookies such as chocolate drizzled shortbread, honey lavender madeleines, gingerbread snaps and peppermint bark among others. There was a hot cocoa bar with many add ins such as chocolate dipped marshmallows, peppermint sticks, butterscotch and peppermint schnapps. At the end of the night after lots of laughs each lady left with a bakery box filled  two dozen cookies along with a Christmas tea towel wrapped inside a glassine bag. It was a fun way to get the girls together and everyone left with some treats to share with family and friends along with some new cookie recipes.
