Last Minute Easy Teacher Gifts

It is teacher appreciation week this week and if you are anything like me it kinda caught you by surprise and you may be scrambling to do something special for all those wonderful teachers in your life! I have two super easy teacher gifts for you. These are great for teacher appreciation or end of the year school gifts!

Resin Flower Paper Clips
First I knew I wanted to get all the teachers Starbucks gift cards so they could treat themselves to whatever they enjoy there! I also wanted to add a special touch to personalize the gift cards. I used some resin flowers that I had purchased from Pick Your Plum and glued them to some jumbo paper clips using epoxy glue. The epoxy glue as well as resin flowers are also available at Michaels Stores.
Resin Flower Book marker
These were cute also using the larger resin flowers. These could be used as paperclips or even book markers. Again super easy gift and it shows you went that extra step to dress up the gift card.
As you may know I am a bit of a baker. I decided to make these Bakerella inspired apple cake pops. I also made them gluten free so that my boys and some of the teachers that are gluten free could enjoy them as well. Believe me you could never tell the difference they are that good!
Apple Cake Pops
Apple Cake Pops
To make these I followed the basic instructions found in the Bakerella website, I have the book so I got them from there. I used gluten free King Arthur Chocolate Cake mix and a homemade chocolate icing using Spectrum shortening rather than butter. The pretzel sticks are also gluten free and are made by Glutino. These are all available at any health food store, I bought mine at Whole Foods.
I think they turned out super cute, even if my food pen writer did not want to write smoothly on the candy melt surface. If any of you out there have any tricks for this, please feel free to share with me!
Gluten Free Apple Cake Pops with Bird’s Party Printable tags
Here are the apple cake pops all wrapped up and adorned with some free Printables courtesy of Bird’s Party, click here to download yours and of course some The Twinery twine in Peapod for bows to hang the tags. The cake pop sticks, bags, candy melts, scalloped paper punch and even the candy eyes are also available at Michaels Stores.
So hurry you still have time to make these adorable teacher gifts to show how much you appreciate all the amazing things they do for our children!

Those are awesome ideas!I made my daughter’s preschool teachers (all 8 of them) resin flower paper clip bookmarks for Christmas. I have different flowers and different kinds of clips now and thinking of doing the same thing for an end of the year gift because they were such a hit.
