Hi Friends! I am back sharing more details from our glam Audrey Hepburn film inspired Party for Bird’s Party Magazine! Previously I shared that the invitations and all of our paper suite was custom designed for us by the amazing Loralee Lewis Designs and the party was photographed by Fiorella Image Studio. Now I want to share with you some of our amazing vendors! Let’s start with the sweets, shall we?
This beautiful rosette frosted cake and cupcakes were baked by my lovely friend Mandy from Cottowood Cupcakes. The flavor was coconut cake with pineapple filling and cream cheese frosting. My favorite cake is Hawaiian princess so this was great! We had Jenny from Craft that Party create for us a custom Audrey Hepburn Peg doll who is so adorable and glamorous she now permanently sits at my office desk! I styled the cake using a fondant scallop “Dahling” medallion from the talented Lynlee from Lynlee’s Petite Cakes. We used a smaller version of these medallions as an accent on our signature drink glasses as well. I added some strand of pearls and faux diamonds to play up the glamour!
This is our gorgeous signature drink whipped up by our amazing bartender Laura! They were delish and so beautiful with the custom fondant “Dahling” medallion from Lynlee’s Petite Cakes.
These fabulous custom chocolate dipped oreos were made by the lovely Maria from Love & Sugar Kisses. I mean those bows are absolutely swoon worthy. We even have a 3D little black dress ones. Everyone said they were amazing… I was to slow to get one before they were devoured!
I only store bought a few items to finish off my dessert table for this party including, chocolate dipped pretzel bowties, white fluffy meringues, the chocolate coffee cups from Wholefoods and the blue wrapped chocolate mints from Trader Joes that I embellished with black and white ribbons. Yes, the baker did not bake a single thing for this party because I was too busy crafting and styling. I will share more on both on the next post.
