Hi Friends! I know it’s been a while since we chatted. I’ve missed ya’ll so much. Trying to entertain my two princes all summer has put everything else on hold. I wanted to take a moment and share all the fun I had on Daytime TV preparing some fun gluten free and vegan ice cream cone cupcakes!
I had the pleasure of baking with Jerry Penacoli a few months back on Daytime TV and it was so much fun. We baked a gluten free and vegan banana bread, which when I saw him again this time, was told was “the best banana bread he’s ever eaten”. This made me very happy! I will share that segment with you soon!
Naturally I was thrilled to be asked to come back for another segment. The producer wanted me to prepare a summer time treat. Nothing screams summer like ice cream, and baking a gluten free and vegan cupcake right into an ice cream cone makes it perfect!
This time I got to do the segment with Cindy Edwards who I didn’t get to meet last time. She was super sweet as well and we had a great time shooting the segment and chatting a bit afterwards as well.
As soon as I walked onto the set, I was greeted by a warm hug and kiss by Jerry, who is a total sweetheart. Same goes for Deanna the producer and Cindy Edwards. The entire staff over at Daytime made me feel truly welcomed and right at ease. I will be happy to return to the set to bake up more gluten free and vegan treats any time they’d like!
