When I found out my sister was having a little baby girl I had a pretty good idea there would be a baby shower in my future and exactly who would be planning it (me). the design concept, style and dessert table where all provided by Two Prince Bakery Theater, the gorgeous photographs were taken by Jessica Charles Photography. A gorgeous honeycomb printed photo box became my inspiration point for a beautiful honeycomb inspired baby shower.
I always believe that the invitation sets the tone for the party. This sweet and subtle invitation hints at the honeycomb theme with just a few sweet little bumblebees. When guests arrived they were greeted by the invitation, lovely flowers, mini French honey favors and these sweet bumble bee baby shoes.
I love monochromatic color palettes for big impact! Everything here is bright sunny yellow, gold, soft kraft color brown and cheerful! A vintage dresser bursts with fresh blooms. The dessert table complete with honey pana cottas topped with honeycombs, pull apart honeycomb shaped lemon cake, and a gorgeous yellow rose frosted vanilla cake filled with lemon curd.
The guests enjoyed an Arnold Palmer drink station on a lovely gold bar cart, complete with mason jars, paper straws and Arnold Palmers inside a beehive shaped drink dispenser.
The guest of honor sat in an antique wicker peacock chair nestled next to gold nesting tables and opened her gifts. The guests went home with some adorable mini French honey jars. Love this gender neutral honeycomb inspired baby shower.
