I had the pleasure of being a guest on Daytime TV for a special food segment in honor of Jerry Penacoli preparing my fig stuffed baked brie. Jerry is scheduled to be out for several weeks because of major surgery, so as a sweet send off, we all rallied around him to prepare him some delicious food from some of the best chefs in Tampa. Jerry Penacoli is a super sweet person and I know that every single time that I have been a guest on the show he has been very welcoming to me and has greeted me warmly and with much kindness. I was more than happy to be a part of this special episode. Laughter and silliness ensued and Jerry seemed to really enjoy the fig stuffed baked brie on Daytime TV,
The recipe is relatively simple but very delicious. It can be served as a dessert course paired with a sweeter wine like Moscatto or Champagne or simply as an appetizer during a cocktail hour. Your friends and family will be quite impressed because it is simply delicious. No one but you will know just how simple it is to make and you can just basque in the accolades that will be showered upon you! Our little secret!
